Come dance your way to a beautiful body while having fun!
This class is an introduction to Middle Eastern Dance. Learn the basic techniques of Romani/Gypsy Fusion and Cabaret Belly Dancing. This class includes an introduction to finger cymbals and veil .
Romani Fusion with GitaneWednesday 7:00pm
Experience the earthy Gypsy energy of the Belly Dance! This is an Intermediate/Advance dance class. You will be taught the basics of this art form as well as strengthen the muscles needed to perform the belly dance in the warm-up exercises. Various combinations will also be taught along with zill patterns, which enhance the dance moves, so you can put your newfound knowledge in motion! A choreography will be taught which will incorporate a mix of earthy and ethereal energies! Various props will be used such as canes, swords, fire/candle/tray, fan, veil/manton and wooden spoons.
